You are bidding on an OLD SCHOOL VW dune buggy that appears to have been done sometime ago based upon the paint theme and such. Note the old cobwebb paint and pinstriping theme as was done in the late 60's and early 70's. Not sure who made the body but the assembly is done correctly and not sure what year the motor is but it is titled as a 1966 VW. The buggy starts and runs well ( I have had it down the road at 50 mph and put about 30miles on it ). Everything functions ( wipers, lights, gas gauge and such) with the exclusion of the radio. It still has the 6-volt system intact. Two ( 2 ) pumps of the accelerator and it starts every time. Paint was done with a clear coat over the cobewebb /pinstripe. It has some wear and patina with slight flex cracks in the paint if viewed correctly. Interior is good as shown but could use carpet. Tires are old style big and little with original 60's 5 spoke rims as you would expect. Tires are excellent but old. Pan appears too be very solid !Friends that see it are in AWE over the patina and time warp theme. Personally , I would not change a thing. I would love too keep it , but space is limited. My loss and your gain !
