Vintage Kawasaki Invader LTD 4/6 Quad Plug, Dual Ignition, Factory Ported Snowmobile. Over the years I have restored 3 of these sleds and simply do not have the time to restore this one. With the exception of the 1982 Interceptor, this is one of my favorite Kawasaki sleds. Serial plate information is as follows:Serial # SS440B-001803Product Code-SS440B-A201Market Code - SS440-B1The good news on this sled is as follows:Original seat (only made for this model in 1980) in very good to excellent condition - no rips or tearsBelly pan in very good to excellent condition with no cracks or missing piecesHas spark with 160 and 165 lbs of compressionAll original and complete engine compartment - clutches, airbox, carbs, ect. Engine compartment very cleanTrack in good condition with no dry rot ectSkis and ski shocks showing some rust but in good conditionThis sled comes with the following extras: Another set of dual pipes, an extra hood, an extra tunnel with bulkheadThe restore challenges are as follows:The windshield is missingThe hood on the sled has damage on the RH rear (see Picture) and a few cracksThe dash Panel Has damage on the RH rear section above were the oil gauge is (see picture)1 of the extra set of pipes has a large dent in it that should be addressedThe extra hood has fiberglass issues - damage in the RH rear as well as a few cracksThis sled has been in storage for 3 years and the carbs and gas tank will need cleaningThe carbs are set for high altitude and will need rejettingYou will likely find a few other things needing attention as you always do when restoringThis sled is located in DeWitt, Iowa and must be picked up there.
